These last few weeks have been a whirlwind for all of us at YoungWild and we don’t anticipate it slowing down anytime soon! The YoungWild fan base is growing by the hundreds each day and we are so excited to see what the future holds for Lincoln and this groundbreaking show.

Recently, YoungWild was given the opportunity to submit our two part Yukon Stone series to the Wild Sheep Foundation’s Outdoor Film Festival & Tour. It was screened by judges and various Sheep Show convention visitors over the week. At the annual banquet the episode was shown on two large projection screens. There is no greater reward than seeing a room filled with 1200 of the best sheep hunting experts in the world go completely silent as they were drawn into the remarkable series of events that led to Lincoln becoming the youngest hunter in history to harvest a Stone sheep with a bow.

YoungWild left the banquet with 3 awards for the Yukon Stone series:

1. Official Selection – Top 10. Will be showcased on 2014 Tour.
2. Pope & Young Award – First ever Conservation Series Award.
3. Best of Festival – Other film producers and the Wild Sheep Foundation voted on the winner of this award. This is the highest honor.

YoungWild and the Wild Sheep Foundation share many of the same youth hunting and conservation goals. It is an honor to be embraced by this prestigious organization!
